The versatility of the Puli<\/h1>\n

The Puli, a Hungarian shepherd dog, is a multi-talented dog due to his original field of activity in Hungary and also in Germany. As a herding dog, he is responsible for the herds of sheep and cattle, which he drives by barking and pinching. The talents required for this can be used for a variety of joint activities with the Puli. We have put together the whole portrait of the Puli <\/a> here.<\/p>\n

Intelligence<\/h2>\n

\"PuliHe performs the task of herding with a natural intelligence<\/b> , i.e. he decides to a certain extent what is necessary for the herding and herding management. This is done in harmony with the shepherd, because he cannot be everywhere at the same time and therefore needs clever \"colleagues\". Just a few years ago, a Hungarian shepherd paid his annual salary to purchase a Pulis as a herding dog. A video about a Puli while herding can be found at the end of the article.<\/p>\n

Sportiness<\/h2>\n

In addition to natural intelligence, a Puli was also expected to have a high degree of sportiness<\/b>. In order to keep large herds together, you need to be in good physical condition, enjoy movement and have enormous jumping power. Pulis jump from a standing position onto the sheep or cattle to get an overview of the herd. The good news is that they still have this sporting  potential. But as owner of a Puli you do not have to operate it all the time. The Puli is satisfied when he is allowed to be with his \"human\".<\/p>\n

Strength of character<\/h2>\n

Anyone who has ever stood in front of an adult bull knows what courage and character strength<\/b> it takes to mess with such a colossus. He also brings this personality into the dog training, in that you don't have a will-less devoted dog, but an established dog with personality. Also its unconditional reliability and the close relationship to its caregivers make the Puli a loyal and cuddly friend on 4 paws, which carries you away and inspires you.<\/p>\n
