Puli breeder "von den zotteligen Gefährten" / "of the shaggy companions"
Estimated Reading Time: 13 minutes
That's us, a little lovable, a little crazy family from the Münsterland. The family includes our children Joshua (17) and Jeanne (16), my husband Christian (no age stated), our Pulim girls Moha San (10) and Betty (6) and our Icelandic horse Numi and me.
My name is Katja Möwius and I run this, as the advertising says, "successful small business". Besides, I'm a part-time PTA at a pharmacy. Since 1994, i.e. for more than 20 years, I have been a volunteer for the German Puli Club (my greatest hobby). I have been a Puli breeder for 10 years.

The kennel "von den zotteligen Gefährten"
Our Pulis are our loyal companions, family and friends, they are always in a good mood, courageous, agile, agile, friendly and clever - simply put, they are our good (life) companions who can always be relied upon. And shaggy the Pulis are undisputed with their incomparable Rastas. So it was clear for us that we wanted to give our Pulis the surname "von den zotteligen Gefährten" to their life. This name describes for us exactly what we love and appreciate about the most wonderful breed in the world, the Puli, and so we left this affix for the breeding for the VDH/FCI protection. It is important to us to preserve the Puli River as the old Hungarians wanted it to be. Healthy, lively and self-confident Pulis, who are always loyal to their people and who know their way. Our puppies are of course raised in the house. They live very closely with us and with us.
Our Puli
Beverly
Some of you may be wondering how you got on the Puli?
In my case it was as follows: At that time in 1994 my hobby was still judo, I trained in my father's club and we had many partner clubs abroad, including the "Budapest Judo Club". The Pulis were not yet as well known as today and I had never heard of this great breed before. Our friends of the Hungarian Judo Club knew that our family is very fond of animals and that we wished for a dog in the future.
So they came up with a very special gift for us as an expression of their gratitude. The Hungarians are very proud of their Pulis, the most Hungarian of all dogs and so they presented us Beverly, our first Puli, ceremonially on the judo mat. Beverly conquered our hearts quickly, and for us it was clear that a life without Puli is possible, but it is not worth living.
Fitzko
In 1995 we decided to give a second Puli a home. It should be a male dog, a very bright, smart guy. We listened carefully to our Hungarian friends, because we wanted to have a Puli as well embossed as our Beverly again. And we found it in Szilásliget, near the imperial city of Gödöllö. There our little Fickó (spoken Fizko) was waiting for us, who jumped right into our hearts.
Beverly, Fickó and I always had a lot of fun together, we did our companion dog test and agility. Beverly accompanied us for 14 years and Fickó for almost 16 years, we will never forget her.
Moha San
In 2007 we found it time to rejuvenate our pack a little and we sent an email to the breeder of Fickó. She told us right away that she would soon have a litter and if there was a bitch with her, she could be ours. And it was a litter of three boys and a girl, what luck!!! Moha San moved in with us in May 2007.
Beverly and Fickó looked after Moha San like a daughter and taught her a lot. She is completely ball crazy and playful, and does this at every opportunity, preferably with the children. Moha is a sweet, brave, perky Puli lady. It was clear that Moha San would be a good mother. So we did the health examinations, which all turned out excellent, and allowed Moha San to breed. She was a good mother with each of her 4 litters. Today with her almost 11 years she is the nanny for Bettys babies and she pets the puppies all very affectionately.
Betty Bamboo
In August 2011 there was a new member in our pack. A small mask-fawn bitch who listens to the beautiful name Betty Bamboo. Betty is now 6 years old and she loves Moha San very much. They cuddle a lot with each other and can be very silly and play together. Betty is a very lively bitch with a very big heart. As soon as our children come, she wants to be cuddled and loved. The rest of the day she jumps and jumps through life, but when there's something to eat, she leaves everything behind. We are very happy that Betty Bamboo belongs to our pack, we cannot imagine a life without Betty anymore.
Our litters
A-litter

We had our A-litter in summer 2009. This was one of the greatest experiences and adventures I have had with my Pulis and my family. Andari and Arisha were born from the "zotteligen Gefährten" !!!! A great rascals gang, which brought even more life into the house. Skilfully I gave Arisha to my sister, so she is very close to her mum Moha San. Andari lives in a very nice pack in Arnsberg in the Sauerland and is happy and his people with him.
B-litter

The B-litter was born on 04.03.11 Moha San and Leo (Pörgeloci Jegenye) became proud parents of 5 little Pulis. 2 black and 3 white puppies have landed on the ground. All of them in perfect health and very happy. Her son Blubsch and Bozontos from this litter are stud dogs in Dt. Puli Club, so Moha San is already a proud grandma.
C-litter

The offspring of Moha and Leo were so beautiful, healthy and lovely that we decided in 2012 that the two of them may meet again. Three little black girls were born.
D-litter

The D-litter (2015) was Betty's first litter, there were 2 babies, the lively, black Daisy Daya and the self-confident, masked Duke of Dreads.
E-litter

The E-litter in 2015 was Moha's last litter, she gave birth to 3 little, sweet, black and cheeky boys. Two of them have been approved as stud dogs in 2017. We are curious about their offspring.
F-litter

The F-litter came to us on earth in 2017. Betty became mommy of a little white princess and 3 real guys in the color maskenfalb.
G-litter

The G-litter is planned for 2018 and we very much hope that in this litter there will be a little shaggy companion, which we will not give away and that there will be even more little "zottelige Gefährten", which will make many people happy again.
H-litter

2019 came our H-litter with black puppies
Visit us and our "zotteligen Gefährten", because we are very much looking forward to getting to know you
