Privacy policy of the German Puli Club

Personal data (hereinafter referred to as "data") are processed by us only to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly Internet presence, including its contents and the services offered there.

Pursuant to Article 4(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, i.e. the Basic Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to only as "DPA"), "processing" shall mean any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organisation, organisation, filing, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

II Rights of users and data subjects

With regard to the data processing described in more detail below, the users and data subjects have the right

  • to obtain confirmation as to whether or not data relating to him/her are being processed, information on the data processed, further information on the data processing and copies of the data (see also Art. 15 DSGVO)
  • the correction or completion of incorrect or incomplete data (cf. also Art. 16 DSGVO)
  • to the immediate deletion of the data concerning them (see also Art. 17 DSGVO), or, alternatively, insofar as further processing is required pursuant to Art. 17 para. 3 DSGVO is required to restrict processing in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO;
  • to receive the data concerning them and provided by them and to transmit this data to other providers/responsible parties (cf. also Art. 20 DSGVO);
  • on complaint to the supervisory authority if they consider that the data concerning them are being processed by the provider in breach of data protection provisions (cf. also Art. 77 DSGVO)

In addition, the provider is obliged to inform all recipients to whom data have been disclosed by the provider about any rectification or erasure of data or the restriction of processing that may be imposed on the basis of Articles 16, 17(1), (2) and (3). 1, 18 DSGVO is made. However, this obligation shall not apply if such notification is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Notwithstanding this, the user has a right to information about these recipients.

Likewise, according to Art. 21 DSGVO, users and data subjects have the right to object to the future processing of data concerning them, provided that the data is processed by the provider in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. (f) DSGVO are processed. In particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct marketing is permitted.

III. Information on data processing

Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer applies, the deletion of the data does not conflict with any legal storage obligations and no other information on individual processing methods is provided below.

Server data

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable Internet presence, data is transmitted to us or to our web space provider by your Internet browser. These so-called server log files are used to record, among other things, the type and version of your Internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you have switched to our Internet presence (referrer URL), the website(s) of our Internet presence that you visit, the date and time of the respective access and the IP address of the Internet connection from which the use of our Internet presence takes place.

The data collected in this way is stored temporarily, but not together with other data about you.

This storage takes place on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. (f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality and security of our Internet presence.

The data will be deleted after seven days at the latest, unless further storage for evidential purposes is required. Otherwise, the data are completely or partially excluded from deletion until the final clarification of an incident.

Cookies

a) Session cookies/session cookies

We use so-called cookies with our Internet presence. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are stored on your terminal device by the Internet browser you use. Through these cookies, certain information from you, such as your browser or location data or your IP address, is processed to an individual extent.

This processing makes our internet presence more user-friendly, effective and secure, as the processing is e.g. allows the reproduction of our website in different languages or the offer of a shopping cart function.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b.) DSGVO, insofar as these cookies process data for the purpose of contract initiation or contract implementation.

If the processing does not serve the purpose of contract initiation or contract implementation, our legitimate interest lies in the improvement of the functionality of our Internet presence. The legal basis is then Article 6(6). 1 lit. (f) DSGVO.

These session cookies are deleted when you close your Internet browser.

b) Third party cookies

Where appropriate, our website may also use cookies from partner companies with whom we cooperate for the purposes of advertising, analysis or the functionality of our website.

You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by adjusting your Internet browser settings. You can also delete already stored cookies at any time. However, the steps and measures required for this depend on the Internet browser you are actually using. Customer account / registration function

If you create a customer account with us via our website, we will collect and store the data you enter during registration (e.g. your name, your address or your e-mail address) exclusively for pre-contractual services, for contract fulfilment or for the purpose of customer care (e.g. to provide you with an overview of your previous orders with us or to offer you the so-called notepad function). At the same time, we then save the IP address and the date of your registration together with the time. Of course, this data will not be passed on to third parties.

In the course of the further registration process your consent to this processing will be obtained and reference will be made to this data protection declaration. The data collected by us in the process is used exclusively for the provision of the customer account.

Insofar as you consent to this processing, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. (a) DSGVO Legal basis for the processing.

If the opening of the customer account additionally serves pre-contractual measures or the fulfilment of the contract, the legal basis for this processing is also Art. 6 para. 1 lit. (b) DSGVO.

You can withdraw the consent given to us to open and maintain the customer account in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO at any time with effect for the future. For this purpose, you only have to inform us about your revocation.

The data collected in this respect will be deleted as soon as the processing is no longer necessary. However, we must observe tax and commercial law retention periods.

Contact enquiries / Contact possibility

If you contact us via contact form or e-mail, the data you provide will be used to process your request. The provision of the data is necessary to process and answer your enquiry - without the provision of this data, we cannot answer your enquiry or can only answer it to a limited extent.

The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1). 1 lit. (b) DSGVO.

Your data will be deleted, provided that your inquiry has been finally answered and the deletion does not conflict with any legal storage obligations, e.g. in the event of any subsequent contract implementation.

User contributions, comments and ratings

We offer you to publish questions, answers, opinions or evaluations, hereinafter only "contributions", on our Internet pages. If you make use of this offer, we will process and publish your contribution, the date and time of submission and the pseudonym you may have used.

The legal basis for this is Article 6(6). 1 lit. (a) DSGVO. You can withdraw your consent in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO at any time with effect for the future. For this purpose, you only have to inform us about your revocation.

In addition, we also process your IP and e-mail address. The IP address is processed because we have a legitimate interest in initiating or supporting further steps if your contribution infringes the rights of third parties and/or is otherwise illegal.

The legal basis in this case is Article 6(6). 1 lit. (f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the legal defence which may be necessary.

Subscription of articles

If you publish contributions on our Internet pages, we also offer you the option of subscribing to any subsequent contributions by third parties. In order to be able to inform you about these follow-up contributions by e-mail, we process your e-mail address.

The legal basis for this is Article 6(6). 1 lit. (a) DSGVO. You can withdraw your consent to this subscription in accordance with Art. 7 Par. 3 DSGVO at any time with effect for the future. To do this, you only need to inform us of your revocation or click on the unsubscribe link contained in the respective e-mail.

Google Maps

In our internet presence we use Google Maps to show our location and to provide directions. This is a service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter only "Google".

To enable the display of certain fonts on our website, a connection to the Google server in the USA is established when our website is called up.

If you call up the Google Maps component integrated into our website, Google will store a cookie on your terminal device via your Internet browser. In order to display our location and to create a route description, your user settings and data are processed. Here we cannot exclude the possibility that Google uses servers in the USA.

Google reCAPTCHA

Matomo (formerly: PIWIK)

In our internet presence we use Matomo (formerly: "PIWIK"). This is an open source software with which we can analyse the use of our website. This involves processing your IP address, the website(s) of our Internet presence that you visit, the website from which you switched to our Internet presence (referrer URL), your length of stay on our Internet presence and the frequency with which you call up one of our websites.

To collect this data, Matomo stores a cookie on your end device via your internet browser. This cookie is valid for one week.

The legal basis is Article 6(2). 1 lit. (f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis and optimization of our Internet presence.

However, we use Matomo with the anonymization function "Automatically Anonymize Visitor IPs". This anonymization function shortens your IP address by two bytes, making it impossible to assign it to you or the Internet connection you are using.

If you do not agree with this processing, you have the possibility to prevent the storage of the cookie by a setting in your internet browser. You will find more information on this under "Cookies" above.

In addition, you have the option of terminating the analysis of your usage behavior by means of the so-called opt-out. By confirming the link

"Facebook" social plugin

We use YouTube in conjunction with the Advanced Privacy Mode feature to show you videos. The legal basis is Article 6(2). 1 lit. (f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the quality improvement of our Internet presence. According to YouTube, the function "Extended Privacy Mode" has the effect that the data described in more detail below is only transmitted to the YouTube server when you actually start a video.

Without this "Extended Privacy Policy", a connection to the YouTube server in the USA is established as soon as you visit one of our Internet pages on which a YouTube video is embedded.

This connection is necessary to display the respective video on our website via your internet browser. In the course of this, YouTube will at least record and process your IP address, the date and time as well as the website you visit. In addition, a connection to the advertising network "DoubleClick" of Google is established.

If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube assigns the connection information to your YouTube account. If you wish to prevent this, you must either log out of YouTube before visiting our website or make the appropriate settings in your YouTube user account.

For the purpose of functionality as well as for the analysis of usage behaviour, YouTube permanently stores cookies via your internet browser on your end device. The Jetpack - WordPress Stats service is used to analyse the usage behaviour of our website. The legal basis is Article 6(2). 1 lit. (f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our Internet presence.

For the analysis of the usage behaviour Jetpack - WordPress Stats stores cookies via your internet browser on your end device.

During processing, your IP address, the website(s) of our Internet presence that you visit, the website from which you switched to our Internet presence (referrer URL), your length of stay on our Internet presence and the frequency with which you visit one of our websites are recorded. The data collected in the process is stored on an Automattic server in the USA. However, your IP address will be anonymised immediately after processing and before it is saved.

Google AdWords with conversion tracking

In our internet presence we use the advertising component Google AdWords and the so-called conversion tracking. This is a service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter only "Google".

We use conversion tracking to promote our offer in a targeted manner. The legal basis is Article 6(2). 1 lit. (f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our Internet presence.

When you click on an ad placed by Google, the conversion tracking we use stores a cookie on your device. These so-called conversion cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for your personal identification.

If the cookie is still valid and you visit a particular page of our website, both we and Google can evaluate that you have clicked on one of our ads placed on Google and that you have subsequently been redirected to our website.

Through the information obtained in this way, Google provides us with statistics on the visit to our website. It also provides us with information about the number of users who clicked on our advertisement(s) and the pages of our website that were subsequently called up. However, neither we nor third parties who also use Google AdWords will be able to identify you in this way.

You can also prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by means of the appropriate settings in your Internet browser. At the same time you can delete already stored cookies at any time. However, the steps and measures required for this depend on the Internet browser you are actually using.
